Privacy policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This website is a personal portfolio and CV of Shlomi Dayan ("I", "me"). I keep it simple: the site collects as little as possible.
What I collect, and how
- The contact form. When you press "Send message", the site does not send anything to a server. It opens your own email app with your name, email, phone (optional) and message filled in. I only receive these details if you choose to send that email.
- Emails and WhatsApp messages you send me directly.
- Server logs. Like any website, the hosting server may record technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and maintenance.
Why I use it
Only to reply to you, talk about the role or project you contacted me about, and keep a record of our correspondence. I don't sell, rent or share your details with anyone, and I don't use them for marketing.
Cookies and storage
The site uses no cookies, analytics or ad trackers. It stores one small item in your own browser, for this visit only: whether you already passed the CV check, so you aren't asked twice. Fonts and images are served from this site, not from third parties.
How long I keep it
Correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed for our conversation, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless we work together or the law requires otherwise.
Your rights
Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981, you may ask to see the details I hold about you, ask me to correct them, or ask me to delete them. Just email me.
